Plus, the cabin comes loaded with advanced technology features to keep you connected and comfortable and innovative safety features that will keep you protected at every turn!

Can you tell us about the design of the Gladiator?

Yes! The Gladiator is a modern take on the iconic Wrangler design. The characteristic seven-slot grille is front and center -- wider than the one found on Wrangler models for additional air intake so you tow without worrying about the engine! Crisp white lighting adds to the truck's modern look throughout available LED round headlights while turn signals find a home on the front of the trapezoidal wheel flares. The back end of the truck features the traditional square taillamps acting as bookends to the wide tailgate. This tailgate ie damped and can stop at three different heights so you can easily load in all your cargo! The bed features include under-rail lighting, an available power source, integrated tie-downs, and available spray-in bed liner, a bed divider, and a tonneau cover! A full-size spare tire is found underneath the bed.

Open-air freedom is easy to experience thanks to the high-strength aluminum doors -- they're stamped with the Torx bite size so you never have to guess and take them off in a snap! The windshield can fold down so you can feel the breeze on your face by removing just four bolts! The Sunrider soft top grants drivers access to a segment-exclusive open-air option. That's is definitely something those other trucks don't offer! A black hard-top is available for all models while higher trim levels do offer a three-piece body-colored hard top option if that is more your style.

Moving inside the Gladiator you'll immediately notice how well laid out the cabin is! All the controls for climate, infotainment, connectivity ports, and even the Engine Start-Stop system are easy to access for both the driver and front passenger. The center console houses the gear shifter, parking brake and transfer case so you can easily take on the terrain ahead. Cloth and leather upholstery are available each wrapping comfortable seats with bolster and lumbar support. The rear seats offer segment-leading leg room and they can be folded down for more cargo room.

What kind of features does the Gladiator offer?

Features are bountiful in the new Gladiator! Entering the truck is a cinch thanks to the Keyless Enter 'n Go system which means the key never even has to leave your pocket! Tech features start off with a 3.5-inch or 7-inch LED display. The available 7-inch display can be configured by the driver in over 100 ways so you can keep all the most important information to you, like tire pressure or the digital speed readout, front and center. The center touchscreen is offered in two sizes -- 7-inches or 8.4-inches -- and comes equipped with the latest Uconnect infotainment system. The entry-level Sport model offers a 5-inch touchscreen. There are two USB ports and a USB-C port for the front passenger and two more for the rear passengers so they can stay connected too! You also get access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can utilize your smartphone's apps for music and navigation!

What kind of powertrain options are available?

There are two engine options available for the Gladiator. Upon launch, the Gladiator will be powered by the Pentastar that is trusted to power so many other beloved Jeep vehicles. This 3.6-liter V6 engine will be cranking out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and comes outfitted with Engine Start-Stop technology. This engine is created to provide a broad torque-band with a heavy focus on low-end torque so you can take on even the most extreme off-roading adventures! This engine is mated with the standard six-speed manual transmission but you can opt for the available eight-speed automatic if you prefer. Available later in the 2020 model year will be a 3.0-liter EcoDiesle V6. This engine will be delivering 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission which is designed to handle the higher torque output.

How capable is the Gladiator?

This truck is more capable than any other mid-size truck on the market! There are two advanced 4x4 systems offered. Standard on the Sport and Overland models is the Command-Trac system. This 4x4 system is comprised of a two-speed transfer case with a low range gear ratio of 2.72:1, a rear axle ratio of 3.73 and heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles. The Rubicon model gains the Rock-Trac system which comes equipped with the same Dana 44 front and rear axles, Tru-Lock locking differentials, and a segment-exclusive electronic sway-bar disconnect. All models are stamped with the Trail-Rated badge so you know the Gladiator has been put to the test against every obstacle so you can take on every new adventure! They also feature 11.1-inches of ground clearance, 26-degree departure angle, 20.3-degree breakover angle, and 43.6-degree approach angle. The Gladiator can also take on water -- fording up to 30-inches. The underbody of all models features skid plates to protect the gas tank and other important components from damage. You can load up to 1,600 pounds into the bed and can tow up to 7,650 pounds with this beast too!
